My intro to graphic design

I first picked up design while sidelined with an injury during my lacrosse career at St. Lawrence University. What started as a way to boost vibes became my introduction to graphic design. I began making gameday edits for our program, small graphics that gave us some swag on social and made our moments feel larger than life. It was my first real lesson in how design can build energy with an audience, boost presence, and even help recruiting.

A lasting hobby

After graduation, I kept the door open for other freelance projects in the sports universe. Really anything related to Lacrosse, Basketball, Golf, or Snowboarding eventually landed on my radar. It was a crash course in teaching myself design, storytelling, and consistency. Those early sports graphics taught me lessons I still use today.
